Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Information Technology Specialist role based in Mogalthur. The Information Technology Specialist will manage and maintain the organization’s IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, end-user systems, and related hardware and software. The role involves monitoring system performance, identifying and resolving technical issues, and ensuring secure and reliable connectivity for staff and collaborating professionals. The specialist will implement and maintain network security measures, perform regular updates and backups, and support data integrity for online counseling and educational platforms. Day-to-day responsibilities also include providing responsive technical support, training team members on IT tools and best practices, and collaborating with leadership to improve digital services and platforms that support the organization’s mission.
Qualifications
• Strong foundation in Information Technology, including systems administration, operating systems, and basic database or cloud concepts.
• Proficiency in Network Administration and Network Security, with experience configuring, monitoring, and securing LAN/WAN and wireless networks.
• Demonstrated Troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and connectivity issues in a user-focused environment.
• Customer Service orientation with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical team members and stakeholders.
• Relevant technical certification(s) (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Security+, Microsoft, Cisco) or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or comparable professional experience.
• Experience supporting online platforms, telehealth, or educational tools is an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site in Mogalthur, manage multiple priorities, and maintain a proactive, solution-focused approach
